Al-Xyij Governorate was established on March 28, 2006, the third governorate to be created after WPS LOL and Al-Plasma and includes 4 cities and 2 uninhabited desert areas for a total of 5 total areas of the entire governorate.

Al-Xyij Governorate has a population of 3.009 million and has an area of 5,808 sq km and is located in the southern area of the country, the capital Al-Xyij dates back to 1760 where the old city (also known as " Sumandar Raqami" the city of the red salamander) while the new city was built between 2011 and 2016; the other 3 cities that are part of the Al-Xyij suburb are: Xelenez (also called Saylin and is located near the Al-Plasma river which separates the administrative borders which was founded in 1845), Raqami (founded in 1860 and is the southernmost city of the country separated from the southern desert of Al-Xyij, where between 2006 and 2016 it was part of the capital: Al-Xyij but later became a separate city) and Al-Martyx (this is the most recent city in the governorate where in 2007 it was founded in a strategic area of the country)

Xelenez and Al-Martyx (representing 2 important people of the Admin of WPS LOL who would be his sister and his cousin) where Xelenez was founded in 1845 (before it was called Saylin, in 2007 it changed its name to the current one despite the Arabized name is still widespread and the WPS LOL has decided that some cities will have the double translation as some cities do not have the precise phonetic translation) while Al-Martyx is more recent and was founded in 2007 a few years after the institution of the same name governorate.

The Governorate represents the Red Desert Salamander which is on the flag of the Red Governorate where the Red Salamander Festival is celebrated every June 15 of the year (it is said in ancient times that it was a mythological creature of a red salamander that fired flamethrowers and was inspired by a Goddess).

Al-Xyij Administrative Building is located in the central part of the metropolis (in Al-Xyij QG district) and sits above the A1 highway which serves as a highway interchange.

The languages spoken in the governorate are Arabic and Italian (until the 1990s it was non-existent then between 1990 and 2010 there was a mass migration of the Italian or Italian-speaking population where today there is at least 38% of the Italian population in the entire governorate) while English is not widely spoken as British colonization never managed to control much of this part of the country.

Al-Xyij Governors

The first governor of Al-Xyij was Raul Raqami Al-Sumandal who was a chosen cleric of the former "Raqami" dynasty who ran as a candidate with the Islamic Democracy party where he obtained 76% of the votes in 2007, where initially the cities post - conflict will have problems of political and social instability where it will be divided into 2 areas of influence (on the one hand the Islamist supporters who support the conservatives and on the other hand the secular supporters who support the progressives), in 2011 the outgoing governor will be confirmed but with a consensus that slightly exceeds the majority with 53% while the progressive secularists stop at 45%, but the riots do not stop in many suburbs of Al-Xyij, where the local guards have managed to push them out of the cities, driving them back into the desert, but the rebellion will continue until 2014; after 6 years in 2014 Angelo Ahmar Samandar will be a candidate who will be a descendant of the previous governor and will be a candidate with Onda Nero-Fuchsia conquering 54% where the WPS LOL will snatch the Governorate of Al-Xyij from the conservatives from there the situation will improve everywhere with the rebellions that are becoming less widespread, Governor A.A. Samandar will be reconfirmed in 2017 with 61% of the consensus; in 2020 A.A. Samandar will not run for a third term and will leave the place to his nephew Andy Al-Sumandar (member of WPS LOL) where he will obtain 65% of the votes with Onda Nero-Fuchsia while the conservatives do not exceed 28%.
