About

Al-Kremisi (القرمزي) also called Al-Crimson or Al-Qarmazi Madinat (in Arabic the Crimson city) also nicknamed the "Venice of the WPS LOL" due to the many tributaries that divide the city into islets, it is the Metropolis of the South -west of the country located in the south-western part of the country west of the black-fuchsia river, it is divided into 21 districts (the city being a single municipality is divided into 2 areas: Al-Kremisi North and Al-Kremisi South which are physically separated from the periphery of the homonymous governorate in the exact center where the city of Al-Tanin divides the city of Al-Kremisi in 2, borders to the north with the city of Al-Wave, to the east with the western desert of Al-Plasma and to the south/southeast with the North Al-Xyij Desert.

The City is divided into 4 municipal areas: Al-Kremisi North, Al-Kremisi South, New Al-Kremisi and Al-Kremisi QG (administrative area).

The city of Al-Kremisi dates back to 1600 which had previous denominations: Crimson, Kremysi and Krymzon, even if the city was established only in 1970, and the city has had Mediterranean and Arab cultural influences (recently also Italian), the city in the 1990s suffered light shelling in the central suburbs where the cities of Rif Al-Kremisi: Al-Tanin, Famm Tanin and Mintaqat Nusar suffered heavy shelling while Al-Kremisi city and Qurmuzi city suffered light shelling (the northern part of Al -Kremisi suffered damage in some neighborhoods but most of them came out unscathed while the southern part was still under construction as a new city and was not damaged, then between 2000 and 2015 there was the reconstruction of the northern part of Al-Kremisi, when Al-Kremisi was established, the Al-Kremisi HQ district was created (north of the old city) where the Old City will be annexed immediately together with the Raqamia district in the southern part of Al-Kremisi (which was created in 1961 before the establishment of the city), finally the rest of the city will be built between 1990 and 2010 or the districts of Burj Al-Eaqarb, Wahuj and New Al-Kremisi (New Al-Kremisi); in 2021 following the administrative reform the districts became 21 (divided into 8 in Al-Kremisi North and 13 in Al-Kremisi South) where the districts of: Farasha, Muyaddine, Nur, Sahar, Yusuf, Shaadiya, Yaaseen, Leena were created , Zaahid, Bab Nasr, Bab Deir Ez-Zor, Bab Samar, Bab Alif, Lataminah, Layrmoon, Ikraam, Ziyad, Tahir and Zahara while the previous districts have been canceled except Al-Kremisi HQ (where 4 zones have been created dividing the city at the level of municipalities i.e.: Al-Kremisi HQ, Al-Kremisi North, Al-Kremisi South and New Al-Kremisi); with the 2021 reform, the areas of Zihria and Raqqa were detached from Al-Kremisi and became new cities of the Governorate.

Al-Kremisi had a fluctuating economy until the construction of Al-Kremisi International Airport with 2 Terminals where between the years 1990 and 2013 there was an economic explosion attracting many investors in this metropolis, becoming the fourth largest economy in the country, compared to the first 3 cities of the WPS LOL the city is on average less expensive, the northern part of the city is more cultural even if it is a mix between the old city and the new city while the southern part is more progressive and technological also culturally where there is it is secular Islam.

From a religious point of view, Al-Kremisi despite having had a conservative past of Islam although not at the levels of Al-Xeon, where Islam was the official religion from 1600 to 2005, after which Islam underwent a process of secularization where the the northern part has maintained a conservative system but opening up to more progressive ideas while the southern part has become 100% secular where there is at least 45% of declared atheists, the rest are religious minorities where there are small Christian and Jewish communities.

Administratively, the administrative headquarters of the city is located at the Al-Kremisi HQ district in the northern part or the city hall area, while the headquarters of the Al-Kremisi Governorate is located in the New Al-Kremisi area in the southern part. .

The climate of Al-Kremisi is mixed between desert and Mediterranean with cool and humid winters and hot and dry summers despite the influence of the Black-Fuchsia river the green areas present in the city lower the humidity creating ventilation.

Al-Kremisi policy

The city of Al-Kremisi has been administered since 1970 (before that year the city had no mayors but leaders who were sovereigns, kings, princes, imams, clerics or any candidate but during the Ottoman Empire they were decided by the Governor of the 'former capital of the country (Al-Xeon) until 1921 after which during the English administration the choice of the mayor was decided by the King under the advice of the Government of the British colony); after 1970 with the establishment of the city the absolute monarchy system was abolished for a constitutional system with mayors elected by the government council, after the fall of the English colony the elective power of the mayor is decided by the people under democratic elections.
